Before the room fills on Sunday, Kevin Conwell will have probably already spent time behind his drums.
The Cleveland drummer has described beginning his days practicing riffs and improvising rhythms for The Footprints, the jazz group he leads. The band has remained part of Cleveland’s live jazz circuit, bringing Conwell out from behind the civic title many Clevelanders know and back behind the kit.
