Sunday brunch at The Sixty6 welcomes two of Cleveland’s most extraordinary musicians — Joe Tomino and Mike Sopko.
Both internationally respected artists, their musical partnership is built on deep trust, improvisation, and undeniable groove. Guitarist Mike Sopko, a Cleveland native, has recorded and performed with legendary musicians including Bill Laswell, Thomas Pridgen, and Los Lobos, earning recognition for his technically masterful and emotionally resonant playing.
Drummer Joe Tomino’s career has taken him from Cleveland to international stages, performing and recording with artists such as The Fugees, Lady Gaga, Lauryn Hill, and Matisyahu, bringing a rare level of versatility and musical depth.
Together, they create something entirely their own.
Their seamless covers and reinterpretations — spanning Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Drake, Outkast, and more — transform familiar songs into rich, groove-driven experiences. Their chemistry is immediate. The atmosphere they create is immersive, intimate, and effortlessly cool.
This is brunch elevated — where world-class musicianship meets the relaxed warmth of a Sunday afternoon.
